Competence comes from being able to. The Kelvin Green team.

Martin Bornholdt
A former founder and board member of DENEFF and McKinsey strategy consultant, Martin is responsible for strategy, finance and marketing at Kelvin Green. He also heads the consulting division and thus all topics relating to regulation, promotion, energy markets and transformation strategies

Geert Vanderkelen
As a hardcore geek, Geert develops the software at Kelvin Green – from the data architecture to the front end and ensures that your data is in good hands. Geert knows what he’s doing, with over 20 years of experience at Sun Microsystems, Oracle and the German Cyber Security Organization, among others. Most recently, he was a senior developer at Planetly.

Noah Mertens
As an AI expert and energy and mechanical engineer, Noah is responsible for the complex energy modeling and development of our algorithms at Kelvin Green. He has impressively proven that he can do this in numerous projects at TU Dresden and Fraunhofer IIS for adaptive systems.

Martin Heymann
If heat data is the oil of the future, Martin is the oil baron. For more than 14 years, the trained mechanical engineer specializing in energy technology at the TU Dresden has installed measurement and control technology in research projects, collected millions of data and gained important insights through complex analyses. He has focused primarily on the integration of decentralized heat generation systems. At Kelvin Green, Martin is driving forward the development of intelligent control systems for green heating networks.

Steffen Brenning
Steffen’s passion is scaling the heating transition. As a senior consultant, the qualified industrial engineer (RWTH) advises our customers on all aspects of heat network design and transformation. He contributes his extensive know-how from 5 years of experience at mechanical engineering companies and leading consulting firms in the field of energy systems and the real estate industry.

Tommy Wohlfahrt
Tommy is a specialist in the development of efficient system solutions. After completing his Masters in Computational Science and Engineering at the Technical University of Dresden, he has already gained many years of experience in algorithms, high performance computing and software development, including at Cofely Deutschland GmbH and the Institute for the Development of Adaptive Systems at Fraunhofer IIS. At Kelvin Green, Tommy uses his deep technical understanding and ability to find innovative solutions to develop an advanced optimizer for district heating networks.

Nhat Phan
Nhat is one of those developers who don’t just write code, but create real added value – with vision, precision and a deep understanding of scalable systems. As the first developer at Personio, he laid the technical foundations of one of Europe’s most successful HR tech start-ups and saw the company through to the hyper-growth phase. At Kelvin Green, he brings his extensive experience and technical excellence to develop high-performance, resilient systems. With his focus on quality, stability and sustainability, he ensures that our software not only runs reliably – but flies at peak performance.

Maciej Sypien
Maciej has over 12 years of experience in full-stack development and masters a wide range of modern technologies like no other. His deep understanding of software development with a focus on robust backend systems and intuitive frontends has been successfully demonstrated several times as a Senior Engineer and Product Owner. At Kelvin Green, he works on innovative, user-centered solutions that combine functionality and aesthetics at the highest level.
